Reconnect Manure Storage v 1.0
Reconnect Manure Storage v 1.0
Do your animal pens get dumped by their manure heaps when you reload your save? No warning, no goodbye — the shit just ups and leaves. Your cows have been putting in the work, and frankly, they deserve better.
ReconnectManureStorage helps everyone get their shit back together. It reconnects manure heaps to their rightful pens after each game load, because no animal should have to wonder where yesterday’s output went.
The Problem
FS25 has a base game bug where manure heaps and pits lose their connection to animal pens after reloading a savegame. When that happens, manure production stalls — the pen can’t offload manure to the heap, and the heap just sits there collecting dust instead of dung.
The Fix
After all placeables are fully loaded and finalized (Mission00:onStartMission), the mod re-scans every manure heap for nearby animal pen stations using getExtendableUnloadingStationsInRange and getExtendableLoadingStationsInRange. Any missing connections are re-established.
The scan is idempotent — already-connected heaps are skipped. Zero performance impact during gameplay; runs once at load.

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.
The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.
The final step. Have fun with Farming Simulator mods!
