About mod:

Adds realistic cold start mechanics and dynamic engine temperatures to Farming Simulator 25.

Vehicles now start at the current ambient temperature, warm up during use, and retain heat after shutdown. Cold engines perform differently to fully warmed machines, adding more depth and realism to everyday gameplay without becoming frustrating.

Features
Ambient temperature-based starts
Dynamic engine warm-up system
Heat retention after shutdown
Reduced performance while cold
Stall risk if pushed too hard when cold
Weather-sensitive behaviour
Multiplayer compatible

How It Works,
Cold engines need time to reach operating temperature before delivering full performance.
Machines that have recently been used stay warmer after shutdown, making later restarts easier and more realistic.
Cold mornings feel harsher, while warmer weather makes starting and running machinery easier.

Compatibility
Works with motorized vehicles.
Designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer. This mod is a WIP and will be updated as we go along. It has passed the initial testing phase.

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.

The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.

The final step. Have fun with Farming Simulator mods!
