About mod:

MULTIPLAYER ONLY
This mod only works in multiplayer.
Turn land into real business between farms! Become your server’s estate agent: sell your own farmland to other players, lease it out for recurring rent, or ask for the land you have your eye on.

Everything runs fairly through offer and acceptance – the other farm has to actively agree before any money, ownership or usage rights change hands. And if the price is not right, you negotiate: counter offers go back and forth until both sides agree.

– Sale: ownership and the purchase price change farms.
– Lease: the lessee fully works the field (plough, sow, fertilise, harvest) while ownership stays with the lessor. Rent is settled automatically each period.
– Requests: you can approach the owner with a purchase or lease request instead of waiting for an offer.
– Bundles: several parcels can be offered for one total price – accepted only as a whole.

Fully menu-driven, no hotkeys:
– Select a parcel on the map and start an offer right there via the context action “Market” or “Request”. The info box shows lease status, open offers and ongoing negotiations.
– Parcels are picked on a full screen map – with ownership overlay and multi-selection for bundles.
– Leased parcels are shown on the map in the lessee’s colour, while the field number stays in the owner’s colour.
– Menu > Statistics > “Farmland Marketplace”: all incoming and outgoing deals plus active leases – accept, decline, counter, withdraw or cancel.

Version 1.0.5.0:
* Price negotiation: every offer can be countered”as often as needed until both sides agree
* Purchase and lease requests: interested farms can now approach the owner instead of waiting for an offer
* Bundle offers: several parcels can be combined into one total price or total rent. They are accepted on an all or nothing basis, with a single booking
* New full screen map for selecting parcels: multi selection by clicking, ownership overlay, and highlighting of selected parcels
* Map context actions: Market, Request and Counter directly on the selected parcel
* Leased parcels are shown on the map in the lessees colour: the field number remains in the owners colour
* The map info box shows the number of ongoing negotiations for a parcel
* The offer dialog now shows the land value and size of the selection as a price reference
* Several interested farms can negotiate for the same parcel at the same time
* The dialogs confirm button is now labelled Send offer, Send request or Send counter offer
* Fixed: negative prices were not detected and could credit money to the buyer. Amounts are now clamped in all code paths
* Amounts are transferred as integers in multiplayer. Very large prices were displayed inaccurately on clients
* If a lessee buys the parcel they are leasing, the lease contract is ended cleanly before ownership changes
* When a parcel changes owner, only the deals that actually become invalid are dropped

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.

The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.

The final step. Have fun with Farming Simulator mods!
