About mod:

Mud System Physics is an advanced physics mod for Farming Simulator 25 that completely rethinks how equipment interacts with the soil during rainy weather.

What does the mod do?

The mod adds a dynamic dirt system that affects:
– Wheel behavior
– Surface grip
– Visual effects
– Vehicle cross-country ability
– Condition of fields and soil

Every trip in the rain or on a damp field is a risk of getting stuck, and not just a pretty picture…

Key features:
“Real” mud physics
Dirt is calculated from humidity in real time

Wheels can:
– slip
– Lose grip
– Get stuck in the mud

The heavier the equipment, the higher the risk of getting stuck

Interaction with fields
Mud behaves differently on different types of field soil, for example, plowed fields are the most viscous
Possibility of removing vegetation in deep mud (optional)

Flexible settings:

The mod is fully customizable through the game menu:
– turn on/off the mud system
– strength of the viscosity effect
– influence of rain
– visual effects
– removal of vegetation
– And much more. (there are more than 20 different knobs and switches)

All parameters can be changed on the fly, without restarting the game.
if on the maps where you play, under physical asphalt, the terrain brushes are drawn not of asphalt, but of mud or dirt, then in the rain the asphalt will look like dirt, turn off dirt on the terrain brushes in the settings.

Version 1.0.4.0:
* Increased soil drying time after rain
* Slightly increased soil wetting time
* Improved hud fashion, added a block for hud
* Slightly adjusted hud position presets
* The logic of the dirt in the margins has been rewritten. Now the humidity percentages are more influential, that is, if there is 10% humidity on the ground, then the effects of dirt on the fields are minimal, and when the percentage of humidity in the ground increases, then the effects of dirt on the fields increase.
(but don’t forget that in the calculations, the strength of the rain is also taken into account, which means that if the rain is 100% and the humidity is still zero (since the game does not only rely on humidity), then the effects will already begin to take effect.
* It was decided to cut out the settings of each individual layer of the earth. (they clogged the settings menu and as a result the FPS in the settings menu dropped, “was less”)
* The reset slider has been removed from the settings menu. All that’s left is the (X) button at the bottom of the settings menu

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.

The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.
