The German Bundestag has decided by a large majority to introduce a Veterans Day. From 2025, this will be an annual day on June 15th to express appreciation and thanks for soldiers. Veterans Day is intended to be a visible sign of appreciation and attention, while at the same time strengthening efforts to provide social care.
