Yield Fluctuation v 2.0
Yield Fluctuation v 2.0
Realistic yield can be a blessing or a curse..
No matter what farmers do, during certain years their yield ends up being much lower than during others, depending on weather and other factors, which can’t be controlled. This mod will let you to experience that yourself.
In short, this mode will affect your yield, it can differ anywhere between x0.5 to x2.5 of normal yield, in other words, some years your yield will be decreased quite a bit and other times you’ll feel like you won a lottery.
It’s purely RNG (Random Number Generator) based, so you won’t have any input of how good yield will be, but don’t forget to fertilize your fields and take care of them, otherwise your yield will be decreased even more, based on core game mechanics.
These are the results of simulating 10 years in the row, your results might differ:
Original yield without a mod was 3103 17%
With this mod:
3584 19%
2742 15%
2739 15%
3632 20%
7249 40%
9362 52%
5677 31%
5682 31%
2327 12%
3470 19%
Version 2.0:
* Fixed problems with custom maps, from now on it will work with custom maps as well as default ones, tested on “Little Land” and “Bloomfield, Canada” maps
* If you want to adjust values, go into RandomYield.lua and adjust 1.7 value to higher or lower, but be careful, cause it multiplies and even a small adjustment can make a huge difference

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.
The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.
The final step. Have fun with Farming Simulator mods!
