About mod:

Straw Output Control allows you to change the amount of standard straw that is created by the windrow behind the combine.

Features:
– Control the output of standard straw through a separate game window.
– By default, the window opens with the F12 key. You can change this key in the game control settings.
– Multiplier range: 0.5x (-50%) to 5.0x (+400%).
– Value 1.0x: base game value unchanged.
– The setting is saved separately in the current save folder.
– Each save can have its own straw output value.
– Changes are applied without restarting the game or reloading the save.

Example values:
– 0.5x: reduced straw yield (-50%)
– 1.0x: base game value unchanged
– 5.0x: increased straw yield (+400%)

Important:
– The multiplier only affects the amount of straw windrow created.
– The yield of the crop itself does not change.
– The mod works with standard crops, mod crops, mod maps and other mods as long as they use the standard fillType=”STRAW” for straw felling.

Version 1.1:
* Fixed a bug due to which the selected multiplier was reset to 1.0x after restarting

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.

The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.

The final step. Have fun with Farming Simulator mods!
