Removable Hedge (Prefab) v 2.0
New Improved removable hedge (import using Giants Editor, NOT a placeable). Mapmakers can place these hedges & fences in their map, and farmers can remove them in order to join and expand their fields.
Mapmaker info
– To place – use Giants Editor to import the removable hedge, into your map. Duplicate hedge pieces or add whatever other objects as attachments under the LOD. Add collisions to individual attachments as required, for example to barbed wire attachments
Farmer info
– 1 Use a chainsaw to look for the cuttable tree or post within the hedge
– 2 Cut the cuttable post or tree – if it is the LOD, cutting it will make it disappear along with any attachents it contains. If a tree is cut, then the wood can be chopped and sold
– 3 If a stump is left in the ground, use a stumpcutter to remove it
– 4 Now you can plough the fields together using the ‘create fields’ option

* Hedge removal method improved – hedge will now disappear completely or leave a proper tree stump in the ground, for removal by stumpcutter
* Hedge may now contain other objects, such as barbed wire, bushes, small trees, fence post

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.
The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.
