About mod:

Description: The custom setting v1.9.5 offers better color, contrast, and more realistic color temperature. It does not increase the brightness and glow (Bloom), for more realistic graphics, compatibility with many games and graphics Mod.

Recommendation: Avoid modifying the default brightness and contrast of the monitor *, play in Full HD (1920X1080) or higher and use the graphics settings that I recommend to get the best possible result in the game.

Features:

– Vivid colors
– Better contrast
– Sharpness and Focus
– Realistic Color Temperature

Changelog: Adjustments and improvements in DPX. Better color contrast.

Important: The SweetFX 2.0 package is not included. Incorrect operation with OpenGL.

#####

Adjustments required* in the Game

General:

– Resolution: The Maximum of the Monitor (*)
– Fullscreen: ON
– Brightness: 1.0 (*)

Important: Increasing the brightness in an excessive way decreases the realism and the quality of the colors.

Advanced Configuration:

– Hardware Profile: Very High
– Anti-Aliasing MSAA: 8x (*)
– Texture Filtering: Anisotropic 16x (*)

#####
Important: Reshade 3.0.8 does not display the effects correctly with the Render D3D_11 by default of the game.

The solution is to change to OpenGL by modifying the following file:

Path: DocumentsMy GamesFarmingSimulator2017game.xml

OpenGL: OGL_4

#####
Disadvantage of OpenGL: Less Performance (FPS)

How do I install Farming Simulator mods?
Find a mod that you like and want to download first. Then, on your PC, download a mod. Mods are typically in.zip format. However, it is sometimes in.rar format. If the mod file is in.zip format, no additional actions are required. If a file is in.rar format, you must unarchive it using software such as WinRar or Zip7. Windows 10 users do not need to use archive software; Win10 includes an unarchive feature.

The next step is to locate the mods folder on your computer. It is typically found in Documents/My Games/Farming Simulator [Your FS game version, e.g. 2022]. Open the "mods" folder and place the downloaded.zip archive or unarchived.rar file there.

The final step. Have fun with Farming Simulator mods!
